Big DigThe BIG DIG treasure hunt is an annual event which is looked forward to with anticipation by children and parents alike. So be prepared to get your hands dirty as you dig for tokens which you then exchange at the prize tent for one of the 100’s of awesome prizes.
Great family fun, So come along and enjoy a sausage sizzle too. Organised by the Rotary on Cuba, all proceeds go to charity. Please have a look at the dedicated page for the BigDig.

Mount Cook School Rotary ReadersWe have a weekly involvement in a Reading in Schools Programme where we assist Mt Cook Primary School, a school of some 16-18 ethnicities with children learning English as their second language. We have been helping children to improving their reading skills since 11 years.
This program is held every Thursday, 10.45-noon, during school term. Up to 12 Rotarians meet in the school library to help young pupils in their reading. The pupils get valuable reading mileage, and all members thoroughly enjoy
helping these young pupils. What a great win-win situation!
This is not restricted to Rotarians only, we currently have three wives of Rotarians, and previously had two other volunteers to help.
