Title: Why We need a New Children's Hospital
Speaker: Dr Rosy Fenike
Qualifications: MB ChB, Dip Obst, MRCGP. Dip Occ Med, FRNZCGP
Dr Rosy Fenike is an Occupational Physician and GP who has been in practice for 30 years. During that time much of her work has focused on the health needs of women and children.
She is also a mother of three, now adult, children.
The lack of up to date facilities for the care of children in the Lower North Island and in particular the lack of a child cancer service is a matter of grave concern to Dr Fenwicke, and a group of parents and other Wellington citizens who have formed a group called
Wellington needs a New Children's Hospital - and is the focus of her talk.
